Most patients with Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS) have upper extremity pain and paresthesia normal neurologic examination objective tests. The purpose of this study was to determine the pathologic nature resected first ribs in a subgroup TOS who experienced resolution symptoms postoperatively. Methods: In retrospective study, we compared human cadaver (control, C) from proven NTOS (N). Ribs were examined for anatomic features. Preoperative postoperative dynamic Magnetic Resonance Angiograms (MRA) affected contralateral extremities examined. Results: There 41 DNTOS 12 cadavers. all (100%) there bony tubercle which corresponded area subclavian vein groove ribs.
